Influence map & Thumbnails

As our recorded voice says they're born in 1922 I looked at some 1922 phones.
By taking a phone from the influence map above, I drew it a couple of times to get a better idea of how it's drawn so that I could characterize it more.
Once I had a rough idea I then added some colour and changed the design to try and make it seem more old/elderly.

Unit 4: Influence Maps

These are mainly going to be used for colour schemes instead of style, but are also very helpful in looking at forms and shapes for parts in the background and the environment. I love how vibrant they look.

Unit 3: Influence Maps

Just doing some influence maps. I don't have my script fully complete yet but I have a rough idea of how things will look now
It's proven difficult to find a fantasy type vacuum cleaner... I guess this is just where my imagination will start to do the rest if the work.

Unit 2: Influence Map

After a Chat with Phil I've decided to go with my lair being inside a cave with a waterfall coming out of it but its going to be filled with levels of bamboo flooring to give it more space and make things more interesting instead of a normal cave.

Unit 2: Influence Maps

In these influence maps I did one on my characters influences, Heroes object and some Indonesian furniture
1.(character influences) I looked into heroes with feral type of powers and searched into their origin of gaining them and some were just born with it or had a type of experience that gave it to them and some don't even have powers!
2.(Heroes object) I wanted my heroes object to be his mask and represented to a tiger as that's the type of powers he's going to have but the mask will be made out of faux fur otherwise it goes against his whole being the defender of the wildlife thing.
3.(Indonesian furniture/architecture) I looked into some of the furniture and architecture Indonesians created and use in their buildings to get a rough idea of what kind of furniture my hero will have but I'm still not too sure yet on what is going to go in his lair exactly because I don't want it to seem too normal.

Unit 2: Influence maps

For my second project I'm to create an environment in Maya, My environment is the secret lair of the Sumatran Super Hero. Below are my influence maps I looked for stuff that my lair could be mixed with and architecture of the buildings in Sumatra and had a look at some lairs that could fit in with rain forests, volcanoes or swamps.

Project One: Cinematic spaces - Influence Maps

I created some influence maps to show off some initial ideas and to give me more ideas on the designs I want my environments to be. In number two the two films that were created from the book one from 1963 and the other 1999 they were a big help watching as it was good to see how others saw the environments of the book. In the other influence maps examples of objects, interior and exterior that I found can picture in my environment as they have a Victorian look to them. in most images they're too bright but I imagine my environment to be darker which is why I will figure out my colour schemes once I have designed some thumbnails.
