back to life drawing every week, I used to do it before I started university but since it was taught there I stopped, after a short break I'm glad to start doing it again.

W.I.P: Digital Painting

Just getting the base colour down at the moment.

Practice: Male Anatomy

I want to improve on male anatomy and muscle more so I thought I’d do a digital painting. There's still a few mistakes but I’m impressed with the outcome and its helped out a lot and I already feel like I've learnt something.

Gone home for the weekend and decided to just do a little digital painting until I started to get fed up roughly around an hour and a half on and off

CGAA Speed Paint Challenge Day 3

The Gingerbread Palace In The City Of Sweets...'

This was Fun to do It was difficult in the first two panels as I was trying to hard as to what would go in the space and in the end I just did whatever in the third and it seemed to come out better. I spent about 5-7 minutes on each panel.

CGAA Speed Paint Challenge Day 2

I  was upset that I missed the first day of the speed painting challenge Phil had given us to do, so I made sure I wouldn't miss this one, although I found this one quite difficult to show that it's Jack frosts lair which to be honest I don't think I've succeeded, but I thought to my self on the last panel there needs to be a place for Jack to be a trouble maker so I put in a crappy little city in the back haha.

I spent at least 5-7 minutes on each panel

I then added an extra 15 minutes to this panel 3

Tried to do some sort of story board I spent about 7 minutes on each. I usually spend an extra 10 minutes on one but being back at home equals doing things for family at the most inconvenient times

Just practising a little, I'm hoping to do this everyday to learn to work faster and produce more things, I spent at least five minutes on each.

Drawings on The Train

Images 1-2 are drawings I did on the train going home from an event in London and the third image is just some character work for something I might do in the future just have to work on it A LOT more! 

Life Drawing

When I was living at home Instead of University I travelled all the way from Essex to Bethnal Green every Thursday so that I could enjoy a night lesson of Life drawing which I find very useful to do as it helps get more comfortable with my pencil strokes and work on my anatomy and shading more. From this I can tell I've improved a lot since a year has passed but there is so much more to learn and improve on.
