Unit 4: Rough Storyboard
This is a very rough storyboard just to show how I want things to go in terms of the cycle. there will be backgrounds and more pixelated text just as i said a very rough draft.

Unit 4: Thumbnails
More Thumbnails I wanted it to look less organic and more like pixels.
This is an example of how I imagined the checking phase to work when the nucleus is checked before it moves on to the next phase, a pixel wall would start to appear in front of the cell, once check it will go green showing it's ready to move on to the next phase where the pixels would then fade.

Unit 4:Thumbnails
I decided to change my idea and do the life cycle of the Eukaryotic cell, instead of the prokaryotic cell as I seemed to get more ideas from that once I met with Mr. Klapper.
the first few are an example of how I would want it too look when the sister chromatids split into two. I like this thought but I think I want things to be a bit more blocky so I'm going to work on it more to look more pixelated instead of smooth.

Unit 4: Influence Maps
These are mainly going to be used for colour schemes instead of style, but are also very helpful in looking at forms and shapes for parts in the background and the environment. I love how vibrant they look.

Unit 4: Initial Ideas
For my animation I'm going to do the life cycle of a Prokaryotic Cell. Since the target audience is Key stage 4+ I've been looking into 8/16 bit art, as I want my animations art and style to be similar even in 3D, I also feel it will connect to the Audience and will be quite nostalgic, since in the 90's there were consoles such as the Sega and Gameboys that used pixels for their games.
A 3D movie named 'Wreck it Ralph' by Disney Pixar was recently released, which had classic games made 3D even though most of it was smooth there were still parts that used pixels, for example when Ralph smashes the cake the icing goes everywhere but you can see how it looks like square pixels all over the walls.
Other examples that use pixels in 3D:

Even now people use pixels in their 2D art work here are a few examples I found:
